  • Obama's citizenship questioned in court.

    https://<a href="https://www.america...deral.html</a>

Without comment on its validity, this could make both conventions worth watching.

FactCheck pretty much proved that Obama's birth certificate is real and not a fake as Corsi and others claim.

    Born in the U.S.A.

I amazed anybody would believe anything Corsi said. He's a classic example of a pathological liar. Just another low life swiftboater. If his lips are moving you know he's lying.

I hate propaganda, smear campaigns and skeletons popping out of closets like they're an ACE in the hole. And I feel sorry for women who are bitter and don't know the meaning of "When you're dead, LIE DOWN."
Can we please just get back to the real issues?

Whats funny about this is it's a Hillary supporter suing Obama. They say it's to pre-empt other from suining, be we know it's Clinton one more attempt to somehow weasel their way into the nomination. :yahoo:

Until factcheck became a bit fuzzy on the facts and is perhaps not an independent third party in this case.

                      SB,

I agree and I should have clarified my statements. This has Hillary's fingerprints all over it, IMO. I realize the woman is not accustomed to losing...at ANYTHING, but to quote Cicely Tyson (in Fried Green Tomatoes), "A lady ALWAYS knows when to leave."

And on that note.... ;-)

Rules are written by our elected officials for all the people, including those who wish high political positions. Many times we find later they are very inconvenient but we still need to live by them and seek revisions. I personally have no problem with senator Obama running or even winning provided he has met all the qualifications required. In fact a victory would be a great moment in the fight against racism.

Clearly the article announcing his birth in the Hawaii newpaper is the strongest evidence that he was born in the states (those are mailed to the newpaper directly from the hospital - though records are inconsistent on which one).

It may just be a case of poor PR by the Obama campaign but the answers provided have only lead to more questions. For example - the copy viewed by factcheck was the 'short form*' and dated June of 2007. This is not the one that was mailed out decades ago. The question must be asked why doesn't he just produce the original or request that the Hawaii originals be made available and end the discussion?

Just to clarify - A notable lawyer has filed a lawsuit in federal court claiming that he has evidence that Obama doesn't meet the necessary requirements for the office. This isn't some little small claims court filing. We also don't know what evidence he may hold. This is serious stuff - if this is frivilous he will end up with the credibility of the Duke prosecution lawyer not to mention possible civil liability.

                        * FYI - Hawaii has two forms. The one produced by the Obama campaign is a short form. Its like a summary and is what is traditionally mailed out. There is a 'long form' made by the hospital with more detailed information. The long form is normally not mailed to citizens. Also, Hawaii is one of a few states where birth certificates are normally not available for view by the public.

Be careful, the same measure that you use, will be measured back to you.

Ixiah and rayc have simply stated that there are facts that need to be addressed and have been measured in their comments.

Ridiculing that tends to say more about you than it does them.

Didn't Fox News make similar claims about the swiftboat ads?
Will you feel the same if such "facts" harm, rather than help, McCain? I object to all of them (except when humor is involved).
If someone claimed McCain (or Obama) lied about the size and type of underwear he wears, would these be "facts that need to be addressed"?

Does it say I'm 6'4" Greek god? ;-)

I'm glad ridicule is so rarely used in the world today.

Maybe Obama didn't misspeak when he introduced Joe Biden as the next President of the United States.

Humor aside, a challenge to Obama's credentials filed in a federal court is, as Ixiah stated, a serious issue.

I made no statement indicating any personal opinion on the validity of the charges, only that a suit was filed in a federal court, information that you are not likely to find in the MSM but you can be sure is widely known to all of the upcoming convention participants. Sorry if you prefer to be kept in the dark.
