It's great news for KU fans. There isn't another coach I'd rather have coaching the Jayhawks. I'm glad Lew gave him what he deserved.

The TV exposure is great for us, but I can see how it gets annoying for fans of other teams.

I didn't say I'm not a fan. :D It's just that a lot of exposure isn't such a good thing if a team's not doing well. ;-) Hence the praying.

Good for Jeremy and Mike. Mike is one of my favorite recent players, not as highly regarded out of high school but always played his tail off.

KU has loaded up with a difficult schedule this year, not so great for how young and inexperienced we'll be. But there is still going to be an incredible amount of talent on the floor.

Yes, thanks SF. I didn't mean to group WSU fans in with 'we.' I figured it was clear enough that I was talking about KU and KU fans there.

I think more coaches are going to get these escalating salaries from private sources. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I'm not sure there's a way to cap something like that.
