brett favre was being an ass. I guess the whole retirement thing was planned out from the start. couldn't stay away from the camera. I guess the madden curse made this whole saga happen. it's a curse, you know? it cursed us with 24 hour espn coverage of Brett Favre.

This was just a mess, there's definitely blame on both sides. Favre jerked the Packers around for going on 3 years now not ever saying if he was going to retire until right before camp. So they drafted his successor to prepare, he finally says he will retire, they move on, and then he's back. But on the flip side it appears Packers management didn't handle it well at all, with some of the news leaks that weren't true and various other statements. But it was a no-win situation for both sides. Now I expect GB will struggle with Rodgers and he'll get blamed, and I don't think Favre will be nearly as successful with the Jets, and you know how quickly NY fans can turn on someone. ;)
As soon as I heard this I wondered if Pennington would end up in KC, I just hope they don't give much of anything for him cause NYJ is going to cut him regardless, hopefully we give a 7th round pick then get it back from GB for Huard.Comment
