What's wrong with some pain at death? These are people who gave no thoughts to how their victims would feel upon death. I wouldn't feel bad for him no matter how painful it was.

While I certainly agree with what everyone here is saying, may I play devil's advocate for a second and place myself in his shoes, knowing I'm going to make any crazy claim I can think of to keep myself from getting ended.

He probably knows it's a stupid as we all think it is, but at this point he's just throwing up hail mary's.
