WSU Seeks $31 Million

WSU is asking for $31 million for a new scientific facility aimed for medical research. I hope it's granted as it sounds like this would be a great boost to Wichita and serves a great purpose to others.

It's not only yours. Those would be two programs that would add a lot to WSU.

I think this field could add alot to WSU by itself. There are endless possibilities that could come from it. I hope it works out. This would be awesome for the area. Lots of jobs (good paying I assume), lots of tax revenue.

New engineering program. Something like medical engineering?

More international and national attention.

Something like this could also lead to a med school down the road. You never know.

Maybe they can design composite football equipment to outfit our new football team in a few years too? Wishfull thinking on my part, I guess.

Don't get 'em started on that Indy. Many WSU supporters are still bitter over how that went. And I don't really blame them...
