If PM played for the OKC team, I could see them draw fans from the Wichita metro area. ;-)

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

if OKC was smart they would start having Preseason games here in Wichita to draw some interest in this area.

The OKC Thunder? Why not Twisters or something?

I think they will survive just fine. The Blazers hockey team always draws well. I would put OKC in the same category as the Spurs and Jazz. The only team in town. They don't have to compete with a baseball or football team for fans.

The Seattle team as far as roster goes is just set up to be a big pile of doodie.

Seriously. The team is horrible. And they did nothing to better it.

With all due respect to hometown hero Adrian Griffin the team itself is all full of fringe or not good enough for the NBA. Think of a NBA team full of Tony Pena Jr's and Ross Gloads.

              4 Nick Collison
              12 Ronald Dupree
              35 Kevin Durant
              16 Francisco Elson
              15 Mickael Gelabale
              22 Jeff Green
              44 Adrian Griffin
              0 DeVon Hardin
              0 Serge Ibaka
              42 Donyell Marshall
              27 Johan Petro
              8 Luke Ridnour
              18 Mouhamed Sene
              31 Robert Swift
              25 Earl Watson
              0 Russell Westbrook
              0 D.J. White
              54 Chris Wilcox
              21 Damien Wilkins

Not sure why people who live in Wichita would rather them be in KC than OKC. They're both in different states, but OKC is about an hour closer.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

i think people here in Wichita relate to KC, because the city itself is partly in kansas.

they have a young team, Jeff Green and of course Kevin Durant is good, and we will see on russell west brook. But i read somewhere that they will have something like 4 first round draft picks next year. so well see.

If KC is so great, why aren`t the Kings still playing there???

Let Oklahoma City have a chance.

i personally think they will make it because its the only pro sport team in Oklahoma.

Yeah and those were some pretty good teams for long periods. Like I said in my previous post the owner better get the team turned around. If the OKC team is as good on the court as the Spurs and Jazz then they will not have a problem filling the seats. But 5 years from now if that roster is remotely the same then it will no doubt be a disaster.

I'm not an NBA fan and generally fl;ip right past the games on television but I will probably spend the money just to see what a live game is all about.

                                Good for OKC.
