  • Chiefs fan code of conduct

Man this may be the straw that breaks my back as a chiefs fan....And if they ever think of implementing this at Koch...

people dont realize this has been a rule forever. They just dont want some idoit standing the whole game. When there is a big 3rd down play and everyone stands then thats different. But this rule has been place forever

I am not a fan of the Chefs. I have attended my share of games as a fan of the visiting team. Never once have I been even slightly annoying as a visitor. Not even at OSU a month ago.

I totally respect the grounds on which I stand.

I have never, ever been more abused than when I went to a Cheaps game simply wearing a hat representing the other team.

Many of the other rules are some of the worst ideas of all time if they have any intention of being enforced.

The biggest game at Arrowhead this year will be the KU/Mizzou football game. I think the attendence for Chiefs games won't be very good.

I agree, because although this team may struggle at times, they will be fun to watch, and possibly could surprise some people

I hope I am. I hope the Chiefs do very well this year, but I don't see it happening. The attendance last year wasn't very good, especially towards the end of the year. I guess I don't see the Chiefs doing much better record-wise, but again hopefully I'm wrong.

The games themselves might all be sellouts, but I'm talking about actual butts in seats. A lot of empty seats last year.

The record will probably be similar to last year, but I think people will accept it better with the influx of new talent that has people excited. It's not unlike WSU this coming season in some ways. Young and talented but with hope for the future.

78,000 fans don't fill a stadium to see promising young players lose. If they did, the Royals would not always be last or second to last in the AL in attendance (Tampa might get us this year). You have your folks that do go out to see the young guys, but if the young guys aren't winning, a lot of folks just watch the game at home and save their money.

Actually, the Chiefs have sold out their last 43 home games. At an estimate of 8 home games per year, that dates back over 5 years, which includes 2 losing seasons (this past year it was 4-12).

So... I think it's fairly safe to say that Chiefs fan will fill the stadium every Sunday.

my brother works for CBS in kansas city...it is true that the chiefs have "sold out" the previous seasons, but in 07-08 there were many instances where the front office would give out over 10,000 tickets to other season ticket holders / non-profits in order to get someone to come to the games - this would allow them to record it as a "sellout" and keep the games on national / regional TV and not be blacked-out.

Even if they lose they can draw plenty if they're not just getting man handled and absolutely dominated.

no matter how bad we are, the chiefs will pretty much fill the stadium. The chiefs are the talk of the town in KC. People in KC get crazy and wild about the chiefs, and they are the cities hot ticket

Well there were thousands of empty seats last year, especially the final two home games. I think that trend will continue this year, probably to a lesser extent early in the season.
