I went to the Friday night game vs. Seattle (Cowboy hat night).
It was my first chance to see the Royals live this season.
The Ballpark looks great right now (even with the renovations)
Althought it looked like Hockevar pitched well, and got the win, I'm not so sure. I think a lot of it had to do with how bad Seattle is.
Then, Sat. night, I caught the end of the game at a restaurant. It was awesome. The place went crazy when DeJesus hit the bomb. What a way to win a game!! The Royals needed that, badly.
Too bad they couldn't get the sweep and head to the break on a really high note.
So far, 5-7 for July. The rest of the month won't be much easier (White Sox, Detroit, TB, and Oak)
Jose Gullien is 3rd or 4th in line for the MVP. It would be either DDJ or Soria. I guess if i had to choice i would prolly say DDJ is the clubs MVP so far.
DeJesus is my pick. Jose would be 2nd or 3rd. Soria is definitely in the conversation but Jose should be as well. With the exception of the slow start he's been a big help with the offense struggling.
