Is Jason Smith on roids? I just noticed he has 18 HRs in Omaha...

And if we have an injury in the OF, it's nice to see we have a couple of guys that are playing well. (Costa/Maier)

Outside of Rosa and Fulchino, the pitching doesn't look all that great in Omaha.

In AA right now Ka'aihue is playing quite well and has twice as many walks as he does strikeouts.

No other hitting really jumps out at me on the statistics, but there are a couple of OFs with a number of stolen bases. Suero - 33 and Duarte - 20

Pitching stats don't look great with the exception of the SO to BB ratios of a number of pitchers. But W/L and ERAs aren't overly pleasing.

I noticed that KC has signed all but 4 of the first 29 picks. Only 4 of the 30-51 picks have signed.

Of the 4 mentioned earlier, 2 are no surprise. 1st pick Eric Hosmer (1B) has not yet signed. 5th pick Tim Melville has yet to sign, and I wonder if he will. 8th pick, 3B Jason Esposito and 12th pick OF Malcolm Bronson have yet to sign.

i got to go to the K the last 2 nights. Wed game sucked as we blew that lead. Last night was a pretty well played game. I tell what Teahan hustles more than anybody on the team. He stretched out a double when it should have been a single and then the inside the park home run, when it should have been a triple. I tell you what, this is my first time out there in a couple of years, people there really get fired up when Soria comes out there for the 9th. It pretty neat. We got seattle,we should win that series, which would give us a some momentum heading to the all star break.

yea when teahan got that inside the park HR, the crowd was pumped, it almost sounded like a chiefs game. Its a shame that cox didnt pick the game up last night

I would guess so. The Royals always claim to have one of largest viewing areas in all of baseball.
