I remember that 2002 series like it was yesterday, after that game 6 debacle I couldn't go to sleep I was so pissed thinking Sac got robbed. (I'm not a Sac or NBA fan but just from a spectactor's viewpoint it pissed me off to see one team shoot 27 free throws in a quarter!) Sac would go down and work to make a basket, LA would have a foul called every single offensive possession. It was ridiculous, I hope ESPN goes back and cues up that 4th qtr and shows some of what were called fouls before we all decide if there is any truth to this.
I've always thought the NBA was VERY biased to their popular, large market teams, so I would tend to believe this guy. Funny that Van Gundy was ridiculed and fined $100k for saying that an official told him of something like this, and now we find out he may have been right after all!
