Can somebody explain to me how this is calculated? You get points for finish in each Valley sponsored sport? Are there bonus points for NCAA tournaments?

It's based upon regular season finish for baseball, m & w basetball, softball, m & w soccer (joke), volleyball and m & w tennis then post season tourney for m & w cross country, m & w indoor and outdoor track and field and m & w golf.
Football is not sponsored by the Valley so there is no effect there and any post season result has no effect beyond the league tourney. It is strickly an average of your finish within the league game/matches only. -

I want to calculate what it would be for the SEC so I'll give it a try.
I think I will assign bonus points for ncaa post-season though and maybe for winning the conference tournaments.Comment

Charlie, if you do calculate it, can you please post the results? I'd be interested to see how that turns out. If anyone cares, just based off of regular and post-season champs, the Big XII leaderboard looks like this:
