Kevin robinson and Bryan Johnston have just signed, so hopefully the signings will start to pick up since there is only 8 days til they leave for training camp

I hope so, considering 7 are still unsigned. It seems odd to have that many still unsigned at this point. Hopefully they take care of business as a number of the guys yet to sign could make an impact on this years team.

Wesley finally released. I always liked him but he obviously wasn't in the future plans. They should have released him sooner but I'm guessing they wanted to make sure they were set. Maybe the signing of Morgan did that...

Supposely on the radio in KC, they were saying that only 3 left remained unsigned (Flowers, Dorsey, and Alberts) Cottam, charles, and Merritt have signed but the chiefs havent annouced it yet.

im guessing flowers will sign, and i will go out on a limb and say Alberts signs before training camp, and dorsey holds out a couple days or so.

This may have already been stated in this thread...

But, it is imperative that the Chiefs get all their picks signed.


Most important of which, is Alberts (even ahead of Dorsey) due to the fact that he will be expected to make a position switch. Missing even a part of training camp will not be a good thing for this particular player.

Im hearing some good news and bad news. First the good news Brandon Flowers and Brandon Alberts are pretty close to agreeing to a deal. They are expected to be on the charcter to River Falls tomorrow Afternoon.

The bad news, Glenn Dorsey is a little farther away from agreeing. What im hearing is Dorsey is wanting a contract worth 70 Million and around 30 million in guarnteed money. The problem lies here, Dorsey camp wants to base the contract off last year number 5 pick, which arizona overpaid LT Levi Brown and they gave him 62 million. So this puts the chiefs in a bad spot. Hopefully the deal can done sooner than later
