Sams ready to show he's still got it

There is no way BJ Sams won't make the team. I think right now, from what I have read, it is his return job to lose. Don't count Herm Edwards out of still signing a veteran wide receiver. I am not sure who is out there at the moment, but that is one thing that he said after the draft. He said they didn't draft many because they new they could get a veteran before the season started.

I like Sams, but i think Kevin Robinson will be the teams punt and kick returner. I dont think there is room for 2 return specialist.

I would agree. I think on opening day, Sams and Robinson go back for Kick Off, Sams for punts. Eventually, I think Robinson takes over punts too and Sams trys wide receiver.

Even after the Medlock thing I'm not against rookie kickers. Cundiff and Novak certainly don't excite me so whoever shows the most over the summer is fine with me.

The best draft the chiefs have had in years....I just feel sorry for anyone having to negotiate with Carl. What a pant load. I still remember John Taits negotiations and his sourness afterward...

On another note of personal interest...My cousin got drafted by the Falcons..i was really hoping the chiefs would pick him as he(Kroy Biermann) won the buck buchannan award this year like Jared Allen had.

I sure hope LJ is maturing. He could be great if he stays healthy and grows up. If he can help Charles along things could be very NICE.
