Local Talent?

I enjoy I wide variety of music and have always enjoyed hearing local talent. That was one of the interesting things from working at the mall for a few years. I was able to buy a handful of CDs from local people trying to get their stuff out. Some of it was good, some of it not so much. But I admire those who go out and try. I was curious if anyone out there has some they'd like to throw out. A few of you have to have some knowledge here. I'll list a few I know of if anyone is interested.

I have alot of love for the Scrub Club guys. Do I like their music not necessarily HOWEVER. Mad Hatter and Co have been some of the nicest people I have met. And they are always down for whatever somebody has going on.

I see where Clarensau has played the Common Ground Coffeehouse in Hutch. Sweet! I know the folks who run it and a friend of mine plays there often.

Disciple is one of my favs. I'd love to see them but probably won't make it out.

I haven't been on top of who's coming. That would be a good show and I'll definitely look into it. I really like Superchick. I haven't heard a lot of Disciple but what I have I've enjoyed quite a bit. And KJ is good. I'm guessing he probably puts on a pretty good show as well.

The most widely known Wichita band is probably Split Lip Rayfield.
