Puritans, stocks, and dunking boards are long gone, centuries ago. Standards have changed and Hefner's quotes continue to be critical of anyone who has ANY standards. I don't know if he went to heaven or hell, but he did make a lot of money attacking beliefs, and tapping into a human trait that is has been central to a lot of fallen people, broken families, and broken children. There are a lot of Social consequences that have resulted from a lack of standards and no one should hold Hugh Hefner UP as a bastion of morality. jmoComment
