Darren Daulton, born in Arkansas City, KS, passes away at age 55 from brain cancer.

Darren played in the majors for 14 years with all but one year with the Phillies. 3 time All-Star, 1992 RBI leader and Silver Slugger Award winner, and helped the Phillies to the World Series in 1993. Part of the World Series Champion Marlins in 1997.

He was a very good baseball player for a short period of time. However, he had more than his fair share of personal struggles. It's too bad that the family legacies are more important than the career ones. Hopefully, he had time to correct some of them prior to his passing.
