      It's almost like bad teams get good picks or stupidly set up a swap in one of the biggest fleecings ever.(Lakers/Nets).

        The Lakers had a 53% chance of losing their pick altogether. And to me Magic Johnson body language looked like he already knew what was gonna happen. Uggghhhh...guess that's why I don't watch the league almost ever anymore.

              There was a time that the NBA certainly had some shady things happening see Kings/Lakers game 6. But the league has pivoted from it, otherwise Nets, Knicks, and Lakers wouldn't be the complete disasters they are now. Heck the Lakers have had number 2 overall 3 straight years.

                Magic's reaction was like that because the guys representing each team already know he outcome. They sat in the room while the actual lottery balls were drawn.
