I hate outing myself like this but it's so good, if I do say so myself.

Very good points in the article!
I will admit that I'm generally not a fan of "generation shaming," especially as it relates to young people. Yes, kids today are dumb, but kids have always been dumb, myself included when I was a youth.
When I read the article and the mom was embarrassed by her kid acting rude in front of the doctor, I didn't blame the kid for that at all. I blamed the mom. I'm sure I probably acted rude towards my parents like that...ONCE. Then, my parents would have beat the crap out of me, thus impressing upon me the fact to never do it again.78-65

When I hear people criticize Millenials, the first thing I always ask myself is, "Wait, who raised these Millenials?" Oh yeah, that's right. The same Baby Boomers who are complaining about them...

Hmmm.
Roughly speaking;
BB were born between 46 and 64.
Gen X was born between 65 and 83.
Millenials were born between 84 and 01.
Basically if your parents were babyboomers, you are probably a gen x, and if your folks were gen x, you are probably a millenial. Blame Gen X. They don't care about anything.Livin the dream

Assuming most people have kids between the ages of 20 and 40, that means the earliest boomers had kids between 1966 and 1986. The last of the boomers had kids between 1984 and 2004. The median of both these samples (disclosure: I am not a statistician and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night) assumes that a boomer born in 1955 was 30 years when they had a child, which means the child was born in 1985 and is a millennial.
So yes, some Boomers have Gen X kids. Many have Millennial kids.
I am a Gen Xer whose parents were 40 when they had me. So they are actually from the Silent Generation. I am a prime example of generation skipping. And my kids, born in 2013 and 2015, are post millennials--another example of generation skipping."It's amazing to watch Ron slide into that open area, Fred will find him and it's straight cash homie."--HCGM
