I'm sure everyone on both teams knew what was going to happen. He's standing at the plate backwards. The only thing left to decide was whether he'd hit a home run. Or even hit the ball. If I was the pitcher, I would have waited for him to turn around before I pitched it. Of course, maybe he figured there's no way he's going to hit it.
