                      • Say whatever you want about the venue and the set up, but on the last day, 4 players had legitimate chances to make their own way to the championship, the course gave all of them fair chances, and they won or lost of their own accord.

                        And it was an amazing day of golf.

                          The last hour of play was definitely riveting golf...period. As a golf purist, historian and lover of the game this U.S. Open championship was one for the ages, but make no mistake, the USGA will get criticized to a greater extent than ever before.
