But what does that mean to the dumm fokes like me? Tornado potential for ICT? Hail? It's gonna miss us altogether?

About all I know is ‘good’ to these weather guys, means ‘bad’ to the average Joe.

I can't give you a good answer, but temps have shot up quite a bit around Derby, etc. recently. That's gotta add fuel to the atmosphere.

Potential increasing for ICT per latest satellite trends. It looks like the dryline has retreated to central Kingman county. Still waiting for observations out of ICT to see if we actually have a southerly wind component.

The PVV/jet streak can be seen on the visible as well nosing into SW Kansas, the OK/TX panhandles. Once that hits the dryline, we should see initation. Looks to be on pace for around the 5-6 time frame.
                  Deuces Valley.
                  ... No really, deuces.

I see a lot of activity popping up in the Texas panhandle and into New Mexico between Clovis & Tucumcari. I think it will get active later tonight. Things that hit Woodward often track through the metro area.

Looks to me the whole metro area is at risk. Warm front is moving north to wichita.
