Chiefs have a 2nd bye week and beat NYJ 24-10. Donkey get destroyed by NE and SD loses. KC moves into 2nd place 1 game out.

They've already had a couple of major injuries especially at linebacker, and survived. If they get a QB injury, RB, Poe, or OLB and it would not be good. If no other major injury, they'll be fine.

The thing that I have really liked this season is that they have improved each week. Getting Kelce involved in the offense will help lift some of the pressure from JC. When you look back at the injuries they had on defense and what those seemed to portend, it is impressive. I really thought that when DJ went down, the defense would fall off too, but that hasn't happened. Houston is having a fantastic year, and it is gonna pay off big time for him at contract time. Just really happy with they way they are playing and look forward to the rest of the season.
