Chiefs lose 22-17. Another opportunity lost by the Chiefs. Hopefully the Royals will fair a little better tonight.

That was a depressing loss, cause I'm not even convinced the 49ers are good. They seem to be a pretty mediocre team with an excellent kicker to bail them out when their drives stall. Chiefs especially missed Derrick Johnson tonight, they got absolutely demolished by Gore.

Maybe getting Mays back will help that run defense a little bit, it's hard to say. A hard loss to swallow.
