I have heard people mock how the big-market Tigers and Angels are out while the small-market Royals are still in. At what point does Detroit become a small market (or at least a middle market)? At some point, the mass exodus out of the Motor City has to start to become detrimental to the financial capabilities of the pro sports teams there.
