The new business school building that will house the W Frank Barton School of Business as part of the new Innovations Campus has been designated as a funding priority by the Wichita State University Foundation. $35 million in donations will be needed as part of the funding of the $70 million project.

They really need to get this done. KU's and K-State's plans for new b-school facilities are already well underway, and it feels like the ball has barely started to move from rest at WSU. When it comes to the b-school, since when has WSU EVER been on the backside of the curve with respect to our in-state brethren?

Bardo needs to hire another mini-Bardo to lead the Barton. The past couple of b-school deans have just been paycheck vacuums.
