A few less prairie dogs left in the Dakota's. Sorry, PETA.

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I thought I'd seen it all, but I can honestly say I have never seen bench rest shooters use scissor jacks! Genius!

And cordless drills for elevation! Sandbags and all. We were shooting 150-250 yes yesterday. Today, we are going after longer shots, 400-600 yds. Lots tougher.

By the way, the scissor jack and cordless drill is patented.

Here's a better look at how the whole thing looks. You fine adjust elevation with your trigger finger on the cordless drill, switch off the safety and shoot. Once you get the feel of the drill, the whole thing is very stable.

Yes, it looks darn cool. I'll be giving that a little test one of these days. :)

A couple hundred dogs shot today. A half day of shooting tomorrow then back home.

Shot for three hours this morning. Getting rained out now, time to head home.

What kind of trail of carnage are you leaving behind?

If you live near Chamberlain, we are home so you can unlock your doors. Great trip, nobody got shot, we killed a few hundred prairie dogs and as a bonus, about two dozen of the biggest jackrabbit I have ever seen.

This was the fourth year we shot varmints on this guy's land and we made a major breakthrough. He owns three sections and while we shoot in pasture, he has bunches of row crops and great cover. He is very protective of who he let's on his land and he finally invited us up to pheasant hunt every year! Anyone that has hunted this area know that this is the best pheasant hunting in America and we have a huge spot of land to use that isn't public access!!!!!!

Kung Wu, our shooting tables are hand made, sturdy and portable. Two of the guys I shoot with are engineers and designed these for our specific needs. While heavy, and not as compact as portable tables you can buy at Cabela's, all and all, they are much stronger and more sturdy. They are made entirely of "repurposed" metal and cost almost zero to build. The seats are old riding lawn mower seats and the stabilizing arms for the top are old push mower handles. We even welded a carrier for them. At 40 lbs. each, they are a bit heavy, but not too bad. We can set them up in about three minutes each. I will post a picture of how easily we pack them

Wow. Maybe future models can be made more of aluminum than steel? Or maybe they are as aluminum as you can get already?

I want to see those benches!
