Seeing Bubba's son walk out there and embracing him, was pretty touching. I love how Bubba wears his emotions on his sleeves.

Left handed golfers might comprise 5% of all golfers.....but 50% of the Masters winners the last 12 years are lefties.

Read an article recently that said when ANGC "tiger-proofed" the course they actually made it more friendly to left handed players and their natural shot shape.

There's no question that Augusta is well suited for a power lefty. Phil probably should have more than 2 wins, and a healthy and calm Bubba Watson could set all the records with a little luck, and not much.

Plus he's a great guy that's almost impossible not to support.

Phil has actually won 3 Masters.

Bubba made two appearances at the Wichita Open (now known as the Air Capital Classic) in 2004-05. He tied for 31st and tied for 22nd. He was the first player to attempt (and successfully do so 100% of the time) drive over the water on #7 at Crestview North. Number 7 is a 456 yard, dogleg left hole over water. From the tee on a direct line to the green is a 296 yard carry over water. It's probably another 60 yards to the green. During one round Bubba drove it to within 15 yards of the green. He is an unbelievable talent that is good for the game.

What I think he is, is a caveman.

"Grog see ball. Grog hit ball very hard. Ball go very far."

                  :D

Oh ... plus he can cue it up on the greens.

I actually think I saw that shot. He was plastering his drives at least 60-70 yds farther than his partner. I think I saw him blast a driver off the deck the same day too on a long par 5 into the wind.

That was the last golf tournament I ever attended.

This is bullcrap. I put your "facts" to the test and went and played a round left handed. I darn near doubled my average round of 90ish to 180ish. If it weren't for the way my ball skipped across the pond three times and landed on the bank it might have been 200. Either your facts are a little questionable or the left handed golfers at the elite level have special clubs that average joes like me can't afford. That must be it. Special clubs.
