This sounds like a really great event for you guys. Unfortunately, for me, I've long since buried my clubs in a deep, dark hole. I had come to the realization that whatever I do to recreate should alleviate tension, not add to it.

The problem with that is perspective. If you look at it like the more strokes you take playing 18 holes the more you get for your money. And remember playing slow only pisses off the people behind you. I once played in an alumni tournament and one of the guys in a different four some brought a baseball bat and a hockey stick in his bag. We weren't allowed back the following year which happened to be at Hidden Lakes a looooooooong time ago.
