Watching them lose season after season gets old. Royals are on different radio stations in Wichita every couple years because the station that airs them lose money.

Wonder how the Don & Mike fans will be when they turn on KFH & a Royals game is on.

Sipping lemonade on the deck listening to Denny call the Royals game as the sun sinks past the horizon is one of those traditions men must pass down to their children. There is also the simple joy of drifting to sleep watching the Royals play their west coast games on TV. Not to mention the fountains at the stadium, which are truly one of the most gloriously underappreciated sights in sports. The fountain light shows between innings in the summer are spectacular. I could go on, but there is so much to love about the Royals, even if they don't win much in the toughest division in baseball.

Ryan, try picking up some Gates or JB's BBQ on the way to the K (they'll let you take it in with you). Grab a cold Boulevard and a hunk of napkins on the way to your seat and enjoy a fantastic summer evening.

This is true, but I think the restaruant bbq is better than the food stand bbq, and you can't get ribs at the stadium. Still, the Gates stand in the K has fed me many times, and it never disappoints.
