SD looked like they wanted it more and KC D was exposed. How will KC handle the adversity after winning 9 in a row, now likely losing 3 in row (unless there is a miracle and Manning doesn't play).

KC Chiefs Wk 13: vs Denver

Chiefs proved that they could be beat bad teams by beating 9 of them in a row, but the question during the entire streak was how they would handle good QBs and good teams. They have definitely answered that question, but the answer is not one Chiefs fans probably want to here. Their strong defense has proven itself to be a mirage after barely tickling Rivers or Manning, and it will only get worse. Their offense ... is just bad. Dead last in the league in passing yards per attempt, and the longest play they've had all season was only 51 yards (shortest in the NFL). Outside of Charles they have zero big play potential, and that means they can never win from behind.
If KC scores early and the defense comes back from vacation, the Chiefs could hold on at home. But more likely the same Chiefs from the last two weeks show up and lose by a couple TDs at home after the Broncos take an early lead. Manning again will remain untouched and the Chiefs defense will again prove that their lofty records to be the product of luck and bad opponents. Least impressive 9-2 team I've ever seen.

The 3rd best team in the AFC is NE, the only team they have beaten that has winning record is Denver and NO, everybody else has losing records.
Moral - win the games on your schedule and get the best seed you can get in the playoffs and try and lock up as much advantage as you can.
