It's always been his biggest flaw and you would figure you could fix it with a few games of Madden. It's mind-boggling that an NFL coach can't figure out how to manage a clock in 15 years of experience.

There is going to be alot of monday morning QB of him this week. So many opportunities to take control of this game but so many head scratchers. But the honeymoon is probably over as this team after next week will be the loser of 3 in row.

Losing the game is bad. Losing Hali and Houston is worse. Can't afford to take steps back on defense with the Chiefs limp-wristed offense. Now they might have a mediocre defense AND a bad offense against Denver ... no bueno. At least they should be able to hold onto their playoff berth, though they won't get the 1 seed. Not that really were good enough to deserve it.

Fun fact: In the four games Matt Cassel has played for the Vikings he has passed for a higher completion percentage than Alex Smith, higher passer rating, higher yards per attempt, and far surpassed Smith's longest play (70 to 51 yards). Point being: Alex Smith is at best a mediocre QB with a limp noodle of an arm, and at worst simply bad. No team with him at the helm is ever going to be a superbowl contender.
