    For those of you who use twitter frequently, you've probably noticed a lot of in-line photos in your newsfeed. That's not an accident, and if you access it on the web, you can't disable it. (Apparently you can on the mobile apps.)

    One big reason I migrated from facebook to twitter was because it was simple, concise and uncluttered. But in advance of their IPO they wanted to give users a more "enriching experience" (which I think is code for "advertisers will love being able to blast users with graphic ads and send us more money").

    If they don't give web users an option to disable that or at least reduce graphic media to thumbnails, I'll either be unfollowing people who post a lot of photos or dumping twitter altogether.
