The wife and I just got home from the concert and it was really great. Lots of their songs and not just the top ones either. I guess this is their history tour and they kind of narrated the first half of the show. Joe Walsh played a lot of the old tunes from his days with the James Gang. I don't know if they give him that much center stage time at other stops but he was a big part of the second half of the show. Last big song/solo by Joe he was wearing a Wichita State ball cap and they did a lot of close ups of him during the solo parts. If any of you were wondering the cap had a curved bill so someone must have had the foresight to bend it for him. Just wanted to give the support staff at IBA a shout out for their hard work and courtesy. As many of you know the wife has been battling cancer and has some severe equilibrium problems due to a past inner ear infection. She uses a walker with wheels and handbrakes so we were waiting for the crowd to clear so we could retrieve it. Security was trying to clear the stragglers out and they didn't know the situation but one of the other support staff on the floor told them what was going on and I heard one of the guys wearing a suit point to us and this rather large security guard and told him to escort us and give us any help that we might need all the way past the doors if we needed it. Now thats the kind of courtesy and help that makes the experience good and brings people back. Anyway it was a good night and one that my wife enjoyed greatly.
