      Sad. I enjoyed his books that I read, just not my favorite genre.

        Though I like most of his works, my favorite is an old one, Red Storm Rising.

          I never have gotten around to reading his works. I started one once, but it was so heavy on technical jargon early that I stopped. Meant to go back at some point and read it though. I do know a number of his books have turned into fairly big movies and I enjoyed playing Rainbow Six at one point.

          The man was one of the best no matter how you look at it.

              His early works are less techno like Shockbands Red Storm Rising which I think is excellent.

                I loved Red Storm rising and most of all his early books. They were all cutting edge and he nailed 9-11. I did start losing interests in his books when he started having a ghost writer.
