Some names of interest and how they did. I'll provide a link to their page and note some things next to them on here.
John Lamb He spent most of his time in Wilmington in his first full year back from TJ surgery. Finished in Omaha and started a total of 22 games. Will be interesting to see how he does this spring.
Michael Mariot Potential bullpen arm that had a solid season. 47 appearances and 11 saves and an ERA around 3.5.
Justin Marks Started in NWA but spent most of the year in Omaha. Has been a starter but will most likely be in the pen if he makes it. Could be capable of a spot start here and there down the road.
Everett Teaford As normal, he pitched very well in Omaha this year splitting time between starting and the pen. Could potentially fill either role in KC if needed. Most likely in the pen but he has started before.
Manny Pina Split time between NWA and Omaha. Not much of an offensive threat but supposed to be a decent catcher. Could eventually be a backup.
Max Ramirez Much better bat than Pina, don't know a thing about his ability behind the plate. Don't expect him to get out of Omaha.
Christian Colon Has been moved to 2B where they hope he can possibly move up to KC soon. Hit a little over .270 this year with 12 HRs and a decent BB/SO split. He's finally getting it I think.
Lane Adams Started in Wilmington where he started putting it together at the plate then moved on to NWA. Appears he was on the roster in Omaha but never played at the end of the year. Curious to see if he continues to progress next year. He's got a little pop (12 HRs, 30 2Bs) and good speed in the OF (38 SBs).
Brian Fletcher Split time between NWA and OMA and has some pop in his bat. High SO rate holds him back as his power isn't quite enough to justify it. If he adjusts some he could be a corner outfielder eventually.
Anthony Seratelli Has been solid for a few years in Omaha. I thought he might have gotten a look last year as a utility guy. He's played just about every infield position and they've now moved him to the OF as well. Solid bat with a little pop in it.
Jason Adam His first season in AA was okay. I do know that the powers that be like this kid and what he could potentially bring to the table. He had an ERA of 5+ but a decent K/BB ratio. We'll see how he adjusts to the better hitters of the Texas League with a year of experience.
Aaron Brooks Split time between High A and AA and looked good at both stops. I'd actually say his numbers improved when he moved up. I want to say he could be a back of the rotation guy but I haven't followed as closely as usual this year. He's been effective at just about every stop.
Malcom Culver Seems to finally be healthy and pitching well. Future bullpen arm. Spent most of his time in Wilmington before getting a brief promotion to NWA. We'll see how he does if he stays healthy.
Sugar Ray Marimon He continues to work as a starter and may potentially be a back of the rotation guy, although most feel he'll make it in the pen. He's not over powering but has good control and knows how to get guys out. I'd expect him to get some time in Omaha next season.
Tim Melville I want to say he too had TJ surgery. Pitched in a couple of games this year, nothing impressive. Not sure if they think they can still get something out of him or not. I've given up.
Brooks Pounders Another guy who could fit in the back of the rotation eventually. Had a solid, but unspectacular year.
Sam Runion Had one bad outing in Omaha but had a very good year at NWA. Could be a solid bullpen arm if he stays healthy.
Andrew Triggs Another bullpen arm that pretty much dominated at Wilmington and was pretty effective during his brief time with NWA. Will be intereting to see how the big righty does next year with a full year at AA or higher.
Orlando Calixte The 21 year old spent the entire season in AA. While his stats aren't great, they're not horrid considering his youth. There are high hopes surrounding the young SS.
Cheslor Cuthbert The 21 year old 3B was successful in Wilmington this year and earned a midseason promotion to NWA where he struggled a bit. They believe he could eventually become a solid 3B or maybe a corner outfielder.
Matt Fields The big firstbaseman can hit the ball a mile. He finished the season with 31 HRs and 180 SOs while only hitting .222. Unless he can raise the AVG, he'll never see time in KC. But that kind of power just needed to be pointed out.
Jorge Bonifacio Here's one to get excited about. The kid turned 20 midseason and shortly thereafter got promoted from Wilmington to NWA. He hit .296 in High A and .301 in AA. I believe that he's expected to develop a little bit of power as he matures, but the kid has a pretty good eye and could end up in Omaha late next year unless they finally put the brakes on his promotions.
Brett Eibner He's never seen a pitch he doesn't like. He strikes out a bit much but plays a solid OF and has some power. If he can learn to be a little more picky about what he swings at, he may eventually make it.
Angel Baez Didn't pitch much this year, but looked decent when he did. Will play in the AZ fall league.
Kellen Moen He struggled a bit in Wilmington this year. He's been both a starter and worked out of the pen but if he has a future, it's most likely in relief.
Tyler Sample Once thought to be a promising prospect, has gone Mike Montgomery in Wilmington and his control issues seem to be getting worse.
Sam Selman Had a fairly good year minus the walks. Some control issues popped up but I think that it's believed that he could end up in the middle of the rotation someday.
Robinson Yambati Appears that he's adapted well to the pen in Wilmington and had a very good year. I also want to say that this is a kid that hits upper 90s on his fastball and as long as he keeps pitching like he did this year, could eventually be in the back end of the pen.
Sam Bates The big lefty had a solid start in Burlington and was promoted to Wilmington where he struggled a bit.
Jack Lopez Struggled some at the plate this year. I haven't heard much about him lately but remember they signed him way over slot value to get him to sign.
Justin Trapp The young 2B is a bit of a free swinger but has a little pop in his bat and good speed. He hasn't really been great at any stop but has been solid. Could possibly become a utility guy, but it's a little early to declare that.
Miguel Almonte They really like this young pitcher. He started 25 games and pitched 130.2 innings while striking out 132 and walking 36. He ERA was a hair over 3.
Christian Binford He continues to pitch well. An ERA under 3 with 130 Ks and 25 walks. The big righty should start in Wilmington next year along with Almonte.
Allec Mills Continued to pitch well in limited action this year. Mostly out of the pen.
Colin Rodgers The young lefty was effective in limited action this year. I'd really like to see how he and the above mentioned pitchers would do in Wilmington.
Zeb Sneed I just like the name. He pitched okay this year. Nothing special.
Daniel Stumpf He had a very good year in Lexington and should get a chance to start in Wilmington next year.
Cam Gallagher The young catching prospect struggled at the plate, but doesn't strike out a lot. Defensively, they like what they've seen and he just needs to develop on offense to move up.
Fred Ford He's got a big bat but struggled at the plate this year. Hopefully he gets back on track.
Raul Mondesi The young SS turned 18 at the end of July and had a pretty solid season at Lexington. Give this kid three or four years and he could be something special. Expect him to be in Wilmington next year despite his age. Oh, and he's got respectable speed and some pop that is expected to develop more. Potential All Star quality glove and a bat that could match.
Terrance Gore This young OF prospect needs to hit for a higher average, but he'll take a walk and had 68 steals this year. Speed kills.
Bubba Starling Had corrective eye surgery this year. Hit a little under .250 but showed some power and had 22 steals. Can't wait to see him hit Wilmington. Kid could be an All Star someday.
Yender Caramo The young Venezuelan looked pretty good at Idaho Falls this year. Should be in Lexington next year. Hard to tell with some of these guys where they may end up, but he's been effective everywhere he's been.
Jake Junis I know they were high on this kid when drafted, but he got roughed up a little this year.
Noel Arguelles OUCH
Hunter Dozier In his first season of play, he's impressed everybody. Between Lexington and IDF, he had more walks than Ks, hit 7 HRs and 30 2Bs, and batted .308. Should be in Wilmington to start next year if not NWA. I believe he's projected to end up at 3B, so if Moose doesn't get his act together, Dozier has a shot to move quickly if he stays productive.
Elier Hernandez The 18 year old corner outfield prospect hit over .300 at IDF. He has some things to work on, but he doesn't turn 19 until November and is expected to develop some power as he matures. Could be in Lexington to begin next year.
Zach Lovvorn Had a solid season in Burlington this year. Nothing fantastic, but solid.
Alfredo Escalera-Maldanado The 18 year old CF had a respectable season in Burlington. I know they think pretty highly of this kid.
I'm not doing the AZL or DSL leagues, but this is what I found. I may have missed a few here and there. Zimmer wasn't on any of the rosters. I know they shut him down early this year, but he was pitching quite well.
You can see Zimmers numbers and the other Top 20 prospects according to MLB here. I also didn't have numbers for Donnie Joseph or Chris Dwyer. I think it's because they're currently in KC and weren't listed on any of the MiLB rosters.
