  • Font used on F4 jersey

Does anyone here know what type face/font is used on the final four jersey? I was wanting to use that to do a stencil of my kids name in there room above the crib. I've tried searching the University and GoShockers for info but their visual standards doc. doesn't say what font the logo uses only the what the associated lettering is. I figure there has to be someone here with a greater knowledge of this stuff than I do.

Can you post a picture of the jersey? There are several on here that can probably identify it quickly if you have a good picture of it.

I'm pretty sure it is a custom font designed for the athletic department.

Yeah that definitely looks customized to my untrained eye.

It looks like the font was based on the WSU logo created by Gardner Designs. Joe Bosack then developed the lettering based off of the S to create the Shockers wordmark.

From @The Mad Hatter:'s link I see that the S came from here and just had to be cleaned up a bit:

This is the same guy who designed the Bradley logo. He also did a font set for them built off of the "B" in the logo, but I'm guessing that was a significant up-charge. He's a stud, clearly.
