I wonder how far the Eagle's viewership tanked after the genius move to start charging? I bet they don't have any bandwidth or server load problems anymore.

It's just a nuisance now having to clear cookies.

I think I'll just use Firefox or another browser with Kansas.com.

I normally access it from work with IE. No issues at all. I sometimes access it from home using Chrome. No issues at all.

I've never been prompted with asking to pay for the content. I wonder how many don't go there anymore just because of the perceived paywall. I'm not denying that it's there, I'm just saying that it's not as strict as I expected it to be, and way lighter as I've never seen it. I just bet there are people out there who don't visit because of that.

Also, if I was a local news television station, I would have immediately put a ton of emphasis in local news web content. But that's just me.

I use Google Chrome and I get blocked every time I click on a story. I barely even go to Kansas.com anymore.

Just set your browser to private mode before going there. Then you don't have to jack with cookies.
