Reid is from San Diego, and that is where he preferred to go. His people approached them a week or two ago, and were told that the Bolts were gonna "go a different direction." As a Charger fan, I think turning him down is a mistake. Reid is now in serious negotiations with Arizona and it is said that they will come to terms in the next couple of days.

Supposedly the report was BS, Reid hasnt even had his interview yet. But ESPN just reported this

RT @AdamSchefter: Before arriving in Arizona tonight, Andy Reid will interview today in Philadelphia with the KC Chiefs, via @mortreport.

Falcons signed OC Dirk Koetter to a two-year contract extension.

Scratch one of the hottest coordinator candidates off the board. Koetter met with the Chiefs on Tuesday and was also scheduled for interviews with the Browns and Eagles. But he's decided to stay in Atlanta, a coup for a Falcons offense that ranked seventh in points per game and sixth in passing yards. Continuity in a creative and effective scheme can only be a good thing for the likes of Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Roddy White.

I'm just happy to hear we may have a shot at Reid. All I was hearing last night was that he was interviewing in AZ and expected to end up there.

Reid is expected to end up in Arizona. Our only chance was to talk to him first. Kudos to Clark for making that happen.

I expect him to be the first coach off the board.

Another note: It was said many moons ago that if Bill Cowher were to come back to football, he would want full control of football side of things. This move my Hunt is clearly showing that whomever is selected, that kind of power will be available to the right coach. He also keeps the GM for now, as he might not get that coach.

Say what anyone will. In my 13 seasons = 5 NFC Champ games, 1 SB. Lots of div titles. No rings, but wins and excitement. Reid can coach.

I would like Reid in red, and Lovie Smith by his side.

Trade for Kolb, maybe a fifth, but if its anymore than that just say no. Kirk Cousins would also be good, as well as what's his nuts in Seattle. If nobody else is available I want Tebow on our bench.

Chris Mortensen just said on Mike and Mike, that he expect Andy Reid to take the Chiefs job and would be very surprised if he didnt
