So are you saying he's protecting Pioli? Right now there is a chance that Pioli will be back and that really should be unacceptable.

Nick Sabin is being thrown out as another possilbe coach.

Not saying he is protecting him, but even if Pioli had a problem with it, Hunt isnt going say so, or else more question would come up.

If we hire the Falcon OC or Iowa HC, i will be very skeptical, but if we hire a big name like Andy Reid, Bill Cowher or Chip Kelly, then I think what all Hunt is saying is very true, and then Pioli will be gone eventually

Well, if that was his intent he failed because the talk and question will be about Pioli. Though with Hunt being very vague it has stiffled the screams to fire Pioli and maybe he bought some time to get beyond the emotion of it all.

It seems to be 2 trains of thought coming from KC - Pioli is probably gone but they need the lawyers to work out an agreement. Or second Hunt doesn't want to fire Pioli and is waiting to hire a coach and then see where it all falls out. It has been pointed out this is a recipe for train wreck by hiring a coach before Pioli status is addressed because the news conference will likely become a circus because it won't be about the new coach, it will be all about Pioli.

It is being reported they are also bringing in their Special Teams coordinator (who will be their minority interview).

Pioli is the problem. The Chiefs are doomed to the abyss. I may as well find another team to support.

Clayton just said that Reid is the Cardinals choice and it is probably >50% probability that is where he going. Only thing is slowing it down is Reid want's to take the lay of the land to see who is interested in him (like KC). He said Lovie Smith is possible candidate for KC.

I can't imagine after the failure of the offense (unless he somehow has a franchise qB tucked away somewhere) that they are going to hire a defensive minded coach.....

Not excited about any of the above. Let's roll the dice a bit like the Colts and Niners did.

I like Reid, especially if Pioli is allowed to stay. He has the gravitas to stand up to him if necessary.
