    Refrigerator STANK!!

    Ugh the drip pan in my refrigerator stinks terrible! I can't remove it either. I was able to wipe a bunch of gunk out of it and clean it pretty good and that removed the smell for like ... 3 days. Then it started stinking and this time instead of gunk there was just water but ... whhhew that smell. Cleaned, smell gone for ... 3 days. Any idea how to get rid of this smell permanently?

    I will call a pro, but what's he gonna do other than clean the thing like I did and then leave convinced it's gone because the smell will be gone ... for 3 days.

    A Baking Soda/Vinegar mix should absorb the stench.

        Yep, worth a try. I also recommend buying a couple of boxes of baking soda… “Fridge-N-Freezer” type; put one in refrigerator and freezer. Baking Soda absorbs some of the smells and helps keep your box fresh.

          Speaking of “STANK!!”

          One fine morning in Eden, God was looking for Adam and Eve, but couldn't find them. Later in the day God saw Adam and asked where he and Eve were earlier. Adam said, "The morning Eve and I made love for the first time."

          God said, "Adam, you have sinned. I knew this would happen. Where is Eve now?

          Adam replied, "She's down at the river, washing herself out."

            1. Unplug the unit and wipe inside with equal parts vinegar and water. Vinegar provides acid which destroys mildew.
            2. Wash inside of unit with a solution of baking soda and water. Be sure to scrub the gaskets, shelves, sides, and door. Allow to air out several days.
            Disclamer - assuming you don’t have a back-up refrigerator, so deep clean the best you can and try boxes of “Fridge-N-Freezer” baking soda… a regular box of baking soda is fine also. So you’re probably not going to be able to ‘air it out’ for several days.
