Deeply saddened by this news. Almost at a loss for words. He and the group were just talent artists ... in and outside of the studio. Been listening to them since I was in 1st grade. Ill was by no means new when I bought it, but it was the first CD I ever purchased. I grew up on the Beastie Boys and that's still one of my favorite albums to this day. My brother had the tape and we'd listen to it all the time. Hell, I can even remember on family vacations we'd be in the back of the van and pretty much recite every song from it.
