The whole thing reeks. There little evidence to suggest it wasn’t consensual, and the ones that had evidence settled.
If there was a mountain of evidence, he would have been brought up and convicted in criminal court. He wasn’t.

It’s ok. You can expect justice. The Commish ($40m+ guy) will ensure “justice” is served. He gets to pick who will give sentence in the appeal.

Len Dawson "Lenny The Cool" has entered hospice at 86. I know that he had prostate cancer in the 1990's that he beat, and he's had quadruple heart surgery a while back, and has experienced mild dementia recently. Evidently he doesn't have long to live. Does anyone know which health problem has put him in hospice?

I haven't heard anything specific. I just assumed it had to do with life finally catching up with him.

The NFL has come to an agreement with Watson and he will be suspended for 11 games and pay $5M in fines.

My assumption would be that the heart quadruple bypass lasts only so long heart is failing. It's been his most recent health difficulty.

Lenny was my very first sports hero. I think time has shown I made a pretty good choice.

Lenny the Cool has passed away.

                        RIP Lenny.

Those are the only words that come right now.

In a tribute to Len Dawson, the Chiefs offense comes out in the choir huddle. They take an intentional delay of game penalty, which the Packers decline. A very nice gesture by the Chiefs. I also believe that when calling the penalty, the referee said, "Delay of game....offense.....#16." I won't lie, I had a tear.

Did he say #16? I missed that. Wonder if that's what he and Pat were talking about as Pat took the field.

Andy said something about it when asked about the whole tribute in his post game interview. Said the ref made a nice tribute too. I have listened several times. The announcers kind of talk over it, but it sounds like #16 to me. Andy seems to corroborate that.

I read in an article this morning that Mahomes handed the ref a note to make the delay call on #16. Well done.
