I just heard that.

I liked it when she sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXV.

That may have been the best rendition of the National Anthem I have ever heard - that is how I prefer to remember her. What a shame - I believe she was attempting to restart her career. But her musical talent unfortunately never could overcome her tendencies towards self destruction. I don't know what the cause of death was, but hope it was not what I fear was most likely. RIP

Really sad to see such a talented lady waste it all with drug and alchohol abuse which took her voice and drive her into bankruptcy.

I remember 20 years ago when the 'Bodyguard' came out. I was going with a young lady, and we both just loved 'I will always love you'. She sang it beautifully, and it became a special song for us.
