If you are still up in the air about whether or not social media is throttling what you see, not one time on Twitter yesterday was anything about Rush "trending" on the side of suggested things.

I see something negative about conservatives "trending" with 3 thousand tweets....Rush probably had 50000 a minute at times, yet Twitter is oblivious. And I know those side suggestions vary from person to person, but if you're not going to show a KKK loving, radical right wing traitor, misogynist, racist, back woods inbred, uneducated hateful ***** like myself, who IS going to get that?

Now I'm not gonna sit here and blame Rush for everything, but he left a lasting legacy of "Dittoheads" who are starved for his daily version of the news... which normally consisted of conspiracy and other forms of irrational thinking.
You mean the prior era when the GOP was in the minority for forty years in the House and all but six years in the Senate? Those good 'ol days?

Why don't you go to Parler or Gab?

As for Rush, his passing increases the amount of humanity in the world and lowers the amount of intolerance in the world. There are more of us who will not miss him that there are of you who will.

BTW, I think you have a strong moral fiber, I have not seen you eat oxycodone or go on a whoring expedition to Costa Rica like he did. I don't suppose you remember when they almost revoked his probation for that when he came back with a thousand viagra pills.

There's a reason people are dropping out on evangelicals. Double standards, situational morality, support of wanna-be dictators. Until this changes (and I can't see how it can, being the moral high ground the evangelicals once occupied is gone probably forever) everyone knows who these people are and most rational people won't buy what they are selling.

You have a point. But would you not agree that the Dems of yesteryear are a far cry from what we have today? Btw, outside of fundamental economic issues, I am far from an expert on the subject as one can get... and that's by design.

Back to Rush: I was on the road during the opening of today's monologue. I will admit it was very weird and sad to hear the guitar intro. I was just waiting to hear his voice come online. So very unsettling. Instead a nobody from nowhere started reminiscing and sniffling all over the radio. I would be lying if I didn't admit it made me choke up a little. Rush was a big deal to conservatives and I am a conservative. I've listened to him for many hours over the years. I even remember watching him on TV over at grandma's back in the day. These last 4 years got way out of hand with people's mouths. Both parties seemed to wander out to their respective ledge leaving me in no man's land. I pray the R's move back towards reason and rationality before 2022.

Would you believe I didn't even know he was terminal? I learned today that he announced it around Christmas. As far as I knew he was still battling. I have heard the British guy fill in for him a number of times over the years, I always thought he was very funny. Surprisingly he was not as good when he did guest spots on Fox. I think he would be a great replacement. His voice is soothing, his message is what the listeners are used to hearing, and he is damned funny.

You know that Amazon shut down Parler and iTunes removed the app from the App Store right?

Parler is back up, but it keeps going down because the new hosting platform doesn’t have the bandwidth.

Twitter has a long history of altering what is truly trending to fit certain agenda's at times. It's not surprise that they would shut down a popular conservative radio voice from showing up.

Ah yes, a morality lecture from a leftist dem. We've become so accustom to the left telling us how we should be and how we should act and that they are so far superior. Lest we forget this is the party of Slick Willy, big head Swallwell, Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, Al Franken, Ted Kennedy, John Conyers, Katie Hill, Anthony Wiener, Jesse Jackson, Jr., John Edwards...should I continue?

And your statement about more that will not miss him than will is absolutely false. You are so blinded by your triggeredness and wokeness. Get a grip.

He's not a leftist. You need to wake up.

I do, but I want truth from both sides. But my point was simply if you think Twitter is not manipulating you and the truth, HARD, here's proof that they are doing exactly that.

As to the amount of humanity, are you at all aware of the various charities Rush supported over the years? It's likely in one month he gave to legitimate charitable entities more than you'll ever give in your lifetime. The sheer tonnage of support of varies charities is incredible.

I strongly disagree with both assertions, but neither of us can prove the other is wrong. Maybe more won't miss him than will, but if that's true, it's because most either don't know who he was, or are uninformed.

Okie dokie. Anything in your past? Are you ok with smoking weed? Because that's a TON worse for everyone than a guy who's goal is apparently a raging hard on for weeks at a time.

Most of what you said are either extremely isolated incidents or completely made up, but ok. Were these people "dropping out on evangelicals" big evangelical fans previously? There's little doubt that some people are straying from their faith. I, and many others, do not think that is a net positive. The same issues you punish evangelicals for are a free pass for the non believers out there. Does that make them better? In your eyes, clearly yes. In the eyes of rational thinking people? I doubt it.

If you're going to celebrate, or cheer, or just be happy when every person you disagree with or disapprove of dies, then you are a sad person that needs a lot of soul searching and should spend a lot more time worrying about what you are doing, good and bad, right and wrong, and a lot less on what your opinion of others activities are.

To be totally fair, the guy's worth $600M. If he wasn't giving away a tonnage of support on a yearly basis, he should have fired his tax accountant(s).

P.S. I'm sure Rush was an all around good dude. But he was not a paragon of virtue. And you could almost call him the architect of much of the political division we now face in this country. He influenced 10's of millions including nearly all politicians in this country. And he wasn't a politically straight shooter by any means. I would call him entertainment, for the right.
