I have hesitated to say anything, because frankly my words mean very little in times like these. But after much thought and prayer, I decided the power of prayer and brotherhood outweighs my inability to come up with the right words.

One of our own, a great Shocker fan and a better man, Shockfan8 lost his wife to cancer earlier this month. They had found out only a few months ago and were making plans to attend one final Arch Madness, but alas, our Lord and Savior would have different plans for her.

While her pain and suffering have ended, those left behind must move on. Fortunately SF8 has a wonderful family who is looking after him and providing comfort in his time of need.

If you are so inclined, please include our friend in your prayers.

We are thinking of you '8, lean on us when you need to....we'll be there.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.
    Amen.

And looking down from Above, I know Peg is saying "Go Shocks!"

What a tragic loss, thoughts and prayers for the family.
