Gale Sayers, ‘Kansas Comet’ and Bears legend, dies at 77

Brian’s Song is still one of the all-time ‘tear jerkers‘. The “Kansas Comet” was one of the good Jayhawks. RIP Mr. Sayers.

Loved watching that man matriculate down the field. So graceful and fluid Too bad his career was cut short. And you are right about Brian's Song. That was a made for TV movie and one of the most watched made for TV movies ever. Don't see it played much these days. Maybe it will make a comeback. Might be a good time for that.

Might be a good time for it to be shown again on a major network or cable; sure couldn’t hurt ‘race relations’. It might also be a good time to show “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”. Both were excellent movies and worth watching again.

Search for Brian's Song on YouTube. There's one on there since 2019.
