Austin Reaves Struggling

Let me first say that I am a Austin Reaves fan and outside of the game against us, I really wanted him to do well.

That said, so far in his first season as a Sooner, his performance has to be viewed as a disappointment. Look at the numbers:

16-17 Wichita State - FG% 44.8 - 3pt% 50.0
17-18 Wichita State - FG% 45.0 - 3pt% 42.5
19-20Oklahoma - FG% 37.1 - 3pt% 26.6

He is getting to the free throw line often and sinking them which is good

If there was such thing as a time machine I wonder if Lon Kruger would still pursue him? Maybe too early to tell.

Austin still leads OU in minutes per game (33.2) and has not played less than 30 minutes over his last 6 games. Apparently, Kruger feels lucky to have him and has no one better to take his any of his minutes.
