You know, I do have to give you guys credit. To win the tourney was a spectacular achievement given what must have been a stunning event to not be competing in the playin game. I mean they must have shown up on day one out of sheer carpel tunnel syndrome.

New York was fantastic, thanks for asking. The championship was an accomplishment that far exceeds anything isuc has done since Larry Bird was in town. How many publications mention WSU's title? How many mention the assrape your team received in the tourney? That's right, even when you win, you lose. That's life as a tree fan.

How does it feel to know that you won the MVC tournament, got into the "relevant" tournament, and immediately become the most irrelevant team there? What a waste of a MVC NCAA berth. Evansville would have put up more of a fight. How does it feel to know that you screwed over the MVC in the post season by ruining all chances of a NCAA berth by a team who could actually do something with it instead of standing around marveling at the fact that they got there without Larry Bird? I guess when you suck so bad for so long, it doesn't matter at who's expense you win, as long as you get to hang one banner next to the Larry Bird Banners. Thank God WSU won the NIT, and CU put up a fight in the CBI, because we saved what was left of the MVC dignity that iSuck tried to flush down the toilet. :wsu_posters:

You hit on the central theme, shock. Programs like isuc have only one goal because they know there is ZERO chance of doing anything else.

Much like a Binghamton, Fordham or Mercer, the Trees ultimate goal is to just make the tourney because they KNOW there is nothing beyond that for them.

And therein lies the problem for the Valley. Until programs outside of WSU and CU will commit to anything outside the conference, they will continue to be a leech. The biggest problem is they don't care. It's their entire existence, and they are proud of it.

I'm not backing up ISUB but I don't want to worship Koch or anyone else becaues they are rich (it sounds like some people on here put them on a pedestal just because they are wealthy). There are honest rich people and dishonest rich people (like any other categories). Enron was an example of a dishonest company where their leaders screwed their shareholders and workers. There are many examples of rich people who use their money to influence congress,etc. and this is one area in which I agree with the Tea Party. Maybe Koch is honest or maybe not. I hope that we find out that they are honest. According to my values, how much money someone makes doesn't make them good or bad.
