Arenas sucks. He is averaging like a 15-17 yards per return. An average returner is probably about 22-25 yards per return.

Chiefs need to give cassel Peyton Manning type control of the offense. This looks much better in that style

Not the type of start KC had to be hoping for. Blown assignment by KC and Buffalo TD.

Kickoffs are getting more hangtime with the new 35 yd line rule. Everyone's averages are going down.

Lets put that hypothesis to the test

Arenas 3 returns for 18.3 yards per return

Rest of the NFL (to this point) 28 returns for 27.1 yards per return.

                        FAIL!

                          41-7 Buffalo leads

Stadium is empty and the stadium cleaning crew is getting an early start on the stadium.

                          - now final

this quote from pre-season after what I saw doesn't that far off. This does not look to be a good team.

"(Chiefs head coach) Todd Haley knows his team stinks, that he is going to get blamed and it probably is his fault. He definitely has done nothing to help the offense, especially at the receiver position. It's not difficult for anyone to connect the dots. Look at the guys they have brought in (during Haley's tenure) — Jerheme Urban, Terrance Copper, Steve Breaston, Bobby Wade — they all played for Todd at Arizona, Dallas or Chicago. (Rookie first-round pick Jonathan) Baldwin is already in trouble. You look at the offense as a whole. They have no center; the receivers are not that good; (Tony) Moeaki is hurt again, the right tackle (Barry Richardson) cannot block speed. Subtract Charlie Weis — how does the offense get any better? This will be Todd's last year, and I think he knows it."
