  • To the survivors: Stay strong

Just wanted to say to those of you who lost people in The Great 1-inch Snow Storm of 2018 -- we stand with you. Try to stay strong.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

What is the world coming to that asking adults to make their own decisions about whether its safe to get out or not is a bad thing?

As long as instructors don't hold it against students that decide they can't make it what's the big deal.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.
